Open Lab is an award-winning design studio based within Massey University’s Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts. Working with us enables you to contribute to the development of New Zealand’s leading creative talent.

We work with you to collectively enhance your ideas, encouraging your participation to better interpret your brief. Research led solutions and the understanding of user needs are paramount to us. We then collaborate in groups led by our senior creatives to gain the optimal blend of insight and direction. This unique approach opens your project to a wide range of creative resources. 

Professional standards are ensured by our team of senior designers and academic input comes from our consulting staff. Our handpicked teams deliver a relevant experience as well as youthful exuberance and modern thinking. We select designers according to their portfolio of work, professional attitude, and their fit.
